NBDP-SMEDA's Capacity Building
Lahore Thursday, June 10, 2021 - National Business Development Program for SMEs (NBDP), under the component of Business Development Service Provider's Capacity Building and Strengthening Initiatives, has successfully concluded a 3 Days Training of Trainers (ToT) session on import/export Documentation and Procedures in Faletti's Hotel Lahore. This is the first session of a series of 5 training programs scheduled in all Provincial & Federal Capital of Pakistan. A total of 30 Service Providers & SMEs related to the Manufacturing, Trading & Services sectors participated in this session. The program is objectively designed for the Business Development Service Providers directly engaged in the service delivery to SMEs around Import / Export verticals along with the provision of well-structured training material covering all aspects of the topic including practical sessions related to the Web. Raja Hassanien Javed, General Manager - SMEDA & Project Director - NBDP speaking on the occasion appreciated the trainees for their commitment to learn and serve the SME sector. He also distributed the training completion certificates among the trainees. The efforts of the project team were also appreciated by the Project Director for successful completion of the training in Lahore and making it a result-oriented event. Syed Sohail Ahmed, Program Director updated the media sources that NBDP has planned to conduct similar nature of TOT in Islamabad, Karachi, Peshawar & Quetta in coming weeks for which registration is open for all interested applicants and they can register for the upcoming TOTs in respective cities by visiting the NBDP website (nbdp.org.pk).
